when should i order my credit report???

The creditor keeps the bureaus updated of all payments and all delinquencies made by you every month. So it is not possible to tell the exact date when the creditors will report your account to the bureaus. I think that if you order your report somewhere in the middle of the month, you can get an updated report.

i just got approved for a line of store credit from www.crownjewelers.com for $2,500 and on their website they had mentioned that they do report to the credit bureaus. i pulled my credit file after i got approved but didn't see the account from crownjewelers yet -- how is that possible?
