Need help w/ credit

Hi how do i start things off.
Ran into trouble and now my credit score is under 600.
From what i can tell in my report, i have 9 Number of your accounts that were ever 60 days late or worse and 2 collections. I've simulated what will effect my scores, and best thing for me to do. I also simulated my best actions and it's telling me to pay off my $3000 dollars off in 24months.
My question here is, is it better if i pay off the payment off at once or do i just do as they tell me to do, this is killing me. It would be of great help if you guys or girls can help me with this. And thank you for reading.

Paying off the debt would obviously improve your score. You may need to begin negotiating with the lenders and collection agencies and set up comfortable payment plans. If you have the money available, you may consider paying off at lump sum or can also distribute the payment over a period, depending upon your convenience. Also you should negotiate 'pay for delete' with the creditors to get these negative info removed from your report.
