If the account is 120 days past due, how does a paid in full settlement look as far as a credit report or FICO score? Is it the same as paying off the account and closing it? Basically, showing that the account was 120 days past due at one time.

The account would either be updated as 'zero' balance or 'paid in full'. But when you have decided to pay off the entire amount, why you don't negotiate for 'pay for delete' to remove the negative information from your report.
