Illegal Tribal Loan
You can remove Plain Green
You can remove Plain Green from your credit report by disputing it. They are not licensed in TU. Okay. But I agree that it would be tough to get a refund from Plain Green. Inform the CA that won't pay penny. Threaten to file a complaint if they don't give you a refund.

You can ask for a refund. If they don't agree, then make a complaint against them to your State's Attorney General. Plain Green is not a legal lender, so you can remove the listing from your credit report. You just need to dispute it.

While disputing and sending
While disputing and sending the letter, make sure you do it through a certified mail with a return receipt request. This will help you if you need to give a proof in the future.
Thank you all. Yes, I did
Thank you all. Yes, I did send the letter via certified mail. I have also asked Plain Green Loans for the refund. But they had replied me back stating that the loan is with a third party (to whom they sold) and all dispute and refund should be directed to them. They also stated that they are legal as they are sovereign entity and not governed by the state law but rather by the law of 'online lending of World wide web'. I told them that I am filing complaint to the AG. No response from them as of now.
