Credit Repair Issues for 1st Timers

Are there any ways they can make to remove a bad credit report in a short period of time? I think 7-10 years is a way too long.

I guess you are talking about the credit repair companies or credit repair groups.
There are several cons of a credit repair service provided by a company.

1. They'll charge you a good amount of money as fee.
2. A credit repair company does not leave you the drivers seat. They'll be in charge of your finances. They'll tell you how to save, how to spend, and how to work hard for additional income.
3. Some of them may also be scam. they may drain all of your money in the name of credit repairing. So, you must check for a reputable credit repairing company who can really help you with your credit.

What do you mean by credit repair pool? Credit repair companies or are you referring to a specific company?

There is nothing which you can't do that a credit repair company can do for you. So, if you have to dispute something, then do it yourself. You should know that certain things will stay on your credit reports for 7-10 years, and you can't remove them before that time.

There are certain things that usually can't be removed before a certain period. For example, a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy stays on the credit report for 10 years whereas, a Chapter 13 Bankruptcy stays a little less - 7 years.
It is like that. What you can do is, if your credit report has such item that you can't remove, try to add more positive items. It will reduce the negativity, and you can qualify for loans with good T&C, too.
