I've got 2 charge offs I want to pay. BOTH of them are scheduled to be removed off my experian report by October, I previously disputed these. and I know BOTH of them are 'fraudulent', the 7 years for both accounts has passed. however, I still want to pay these but I do NOT want these being reinstated or even replaced on my report once they've been removed. What amount should I realistically offer? one is with LVNV funding from Household/Best Buy. The original debt was less than $900, but they're reported more than $1900 on my report and I am NOT willing to pay that much. Also have a Portfolio Recovery for GEMB/Disney for $666, original debt $500. any advice? and who should I offer the settlement too, the original creditor or the CA? Thanks!!

I am not very knowledgeable in debt settlement but someone will be along soon that is and will be able to help you with that. However, I think that if you pay them, that will re-age the accounts on your credit report for another 7 years, unless you get the creditors to remove it when you propose the settlement to them. I am not 100% certain on this but I think that is what I have read on here. Good luck to you.
