I would def try to settle for $250 and bascially tell them to take it or leave it! there is a better chance they will take it and settle!!

i had no timely replies here so I already offered them full payment for delete? anything I can do now to lower the amount given yet get full delete in return?

First...I would not send them any $ until you have something in writing outlining your agreement for pay for delete.
Again, was it with the original creditor or a collection agency? My guess is that it is a CA? If so...DON'T DO ANYTHING UNTIL YOU HAVE IT IN WRITING!! They will lie to you to get you to pay...and then when you pay and they don't remove it...you're screwed!!
I haven't seen a pay for delete for anything less than full amount. You can always call them back and say you looked at your finances but don't have the full amount...see what they say. Can't hurt.
