Good News I Think

So i decided to dispute thinking this account is passed the SOL. Well when i check my EXPERIAN report today the PROVIDIAN FINANCIAL charge off was removed from my report. EXPERIAN, didn't give a reason why they removed it. BTW, i did online dispute.
The funny thing about this entire thing is i came in to some money recently. And i knew i had some bad marks on my credit report. About 3 accounts totaliing 3000.00 in debt which now i can afford to pay. But since i moved 2 years ago the collection letters and phone calls have stop. So i had to look on my credit report to find the contact info of my crediters to pay them, and none of them can find my account info or balances anything regarding my accounts. The accounts are pretty old 1998,1997.
My question is since i never paid the PROVIDIAN FINANCIAL account can it pop up on my report again? And if it does what should i do? I would just prefer to pay it so i know what the status of this accouunt is.
I think they would have to notify you first before re-reporting
I think they would have to notify you first before re-reporting it to your reports.
Negative accounts are removed from the credit file once they are
Negative accounts are removed from the credit file once they are past the seven years reporting time. This is mentioned in the FCRA laws. It seems they are off because of that reason.
The account will come back in your report if you do a payment. At this point, you had the negative account in your file and it is taken off. Now, there is nothing that hurts your credit. Paying the debt will show your moral duties and will be reported in your file as a positive thing. If you do partial payments and in case there is a miss sometime later, your credit is screwed.

Once you have something removed after 7 years, would it be advisable to pay on it or just leave it alone??
I would think just leaving it alone because if you started payin
I would think just leaving it alone because if you started paying on it again, wouldn't that set everything in motion?
