I'm taking it to mean that the credit bureau has noted that you dispute the information for that account, but Midland have yet to verify anything?
If this is the case, I would give it another month, and if this is still appearing, I would dispute the account again and ask that it be removed due to Midland not validating/verifying the debt in the 30-day period.

I know bad credit issues stay on your report ofr 7 yrs, but how do you figure the begining of the 7yrs, there are so many entrees on the report its hard to compute..

Reporting period for derogatory info starts with the Date of First Default, the date you missed your first payment and never brought the account current. Generally, that date is not on your reports so you would have to call the CRA's to obtain that info.
