Reporting multiple times . what to do?

I have pulled up my credit report for all 3 companies and have found the same thing being reported multiple times. I had a store card long time back and have seen it brought up 6 times on my report, shouldn't it only be once since I only had 1 card?

I think it has gone for collection. If you believe that you have paid it already, then dispute it with the 3 bureaus.

You have only the store card..right? How much money you owe to the store card company? Did you receive any calls from debt collectors?

It's possible. When an account is assigned to a collection agency, the information is reported in a new tradeline. If this account has been transferred to several CAs, then multiple tradelines will be there on your credit report. A separate tradeline is created to show the information about the account after its transfer. This is normal.
