I had a judgement and was paid in full but is showing on my credit report as status unknown, how can I fix this problem or where do I have to go to fix it?
request a copy of the satisfaction letter from the court and fwd
request a copy of the satisfaction letter from the court and fwd it to the 3 credit bureaus. you can also call the CA that had the judgment entered against you and ask for the same. if the judgment was satisfied through involuntary payment (i.e wage garnishment) be prepared for them to tell you to request a copy of the fully satisfied writ of execution.
