ca reporting but no validation

I want to make sure I am crystal clear on this-
I sent a validation request to a CA that has been reporting a debt I "owe" for almost 6 years. It is scheduled to come off of my credit report in Feb. anyway. It has been 2 months, and the CA did not respond to my validation request.
I disputed the debt with the credit bureaus too.
They are investigating it, and the 30 days is coming up very soon.
1. If the credit bureaus investigation result is verified, does the CA have to provide validation to me?
2. Can the CA report be reporting even if the account is being investigated? They reported on 11/22, even though it is disputed and they have not validated to me!
I get all of the rules mixed up!

Hi If the credit bureaus investigation result is verified the
Hi
If the credit bureaus investigation result is verified then the credit bureau must send you the result of the investigation. If there are any changes made then the bureau must send you a free copy of the updated credit report.
If the CA is reporting the account to the bureau even if its disputed then there must be a notification given from the CA stating that the account is being disputed.
Hope it was helpful
