I want to take out a home mortgage loan and had a talk with lenders. They told me that I will get good rate if my credit score increases by 80 points. I want to obtain the loan in this year. Is there any way to increase my credit score by about 80 points in 1 year?

There are a few ways to increase your credit score by 80 points. Check your credit report and find out if there are a few negative listings on your credit report. Check minutely and find out if they are any inaccurate negative listings. Dispute them with credit bureaus and take steps to remove them. As far as the accurate negative listings are concerned, think what you can do about them. If you have collection accounts, try to pay them off as soon as possible. Also, bring down your credit utilization ratio to below 30%.

Rule #1: Before applying for a loan, always pull a copy of all 3 of your credit reports. Every American is entitled to one free credit report per agency per year. If you're denied credit due to derogatory information, you also get a free credit report from the specific agency within 60 days of the rejection.

You can't work directly with the bank to remove the information, you have to work through the credit reporting agency.
Every credit reporting agency has a formal dispute process. Ask your broker which company's credit report has those remarks (Experian, Transunion, or Equifax), and go to their website to find out the dispute process. With some agencies, you can initiate the dispute online, some have to be via mail. As soon as you initiate a dispute, the reporting agency will remove the negative information and contact the creditor. The creditor will then have 30(?) days to either confirm the information or it will be permanently removed. If the creditor confirms the info, you'll likely need supporting documentation that the debt was satisfied (check stubs, receipts, letters, etc.) so have those handy.

On the other hand It is not a mandate to wait for as long as that, some go as far as Hiring a programmer or a hacker in order to get their CREDIT SCORE repaired or boosted in days or weeks .
If you go to HL forum website , you will be able to find some reviews about different programers you can hire some even accept payment after they are done with your score .
jamesharden AT programmer DOT net was of the programmers I contacted was I was also at the verge of trying to get my score repaired .
FYI make sure you do not pay these guys before they finish your work as I didn't do that too .

Good Luck

Ask your creditors to increase the credit limit of your credit card(s). Higher credit limit gives you more available credit which means low credit utilization. As a result, your credit score can improve as the credit utilization accounts for 30% of your credit score.
