Heard that I don't have to sign the credit card receipts. Is it fake news or real?

There's no rule as such!
But it's better to call your bank, or card issuer, to know what you should do! I believe you need to sign merchant receipts!!!

Yeah. It's true. Mastercard, VISA, American Express and Discover are doing away with signatures.

Nowadays, you don't have to sign your some of your credit card receipts. Though there's no harm in doing it, it saves time. The companies stated above by 'ditchdebt' are issuing EMV chips that tackle fraud better.

It is better to ask your credit card issuer about it. It may vary between issuers.

There's no harm in signing the credit card receipts. Only that you can save time by not doing so.
