Once the SOL expires, it expires. If a CA is reaging it, falsely reporting activity, etc., they're breaking the law. If you're past SOL, send them a letter stating such. They aren't supposed to be reporting invalidated items on your report. They also can't collect on items that are past SOL. If SOL expired before the 7 year reporting period, it can still show on your report for up to 7.5 years. If that time has passed (which it sounds like it may have), it shouldn't show on your report.
