My current credit score is 558. Is it good or bad?

In my opinion, your focus should be on your credit report rather than your credit score. That is a low score that probably needs a lot of CR repair.

Credit repair starts by focusing on addressing delinquencies rather than accounts. List each monthly delinquency on each OC account by date and severity (e.g., 30 day late, 10/2009; 60 day late, 11/2009, etc.)
Then consider if they are accurate. Ass 7 years to the separate date of each delinquency, and that tells you how long it can remain in your CR.

Next, list each collection and charge-off reported to your account, and match each up with the corresponding date of first delinquency DOFD) on the OC account. For any one single OC account, any charge-off or collection must drop at the same time, which is 7 years plus 180-days from the DOFD.

After you have listed those dates and types of derogs, come back to this site for advice on how to deal with each. A solid credit repair plan requires identfication of each of those derogs and associated dates.
