What's the best credit monitoring service?

I need a credit monitoring service. Ideally, I'd love something that pulls a FICO (not a FAKO) as often as I want and also alerts me if something changes on my report. What's a good, affordable service? Opinions?


Rather than taking the help of a credit monitoring service and paying them huge fees for their services, you can do this on your own. You can pull out your own credit report by contacting the credit bureaus and check them thoroughly. If you find any item which you feel should not have been mentioned in your credit report, you can contact the credit bureaus and dispute the item with them and remove it from your credit report.

I believe the best credit monitoring service is the one that keeps a regular track on my credit and send me automatic alerts whenever my credit score changes. Like the one that is provided by Freecreditscore.com, it helps me to be in touch with my credit score.
