Debt Validation Account Number
Date: Mon, 03/01/2010 - 01:14
Hello,
I'm about to send off a debt validation letter tomorrow and have some concerns. Of course, if they are unable to verify the debt, I am pretty much in the clear, according to what I've been reading. In the sample debt validation letter, it had an account number. Now, I have an account number, but what if I were to leave it out? Would it make any difference or make my letter null/void? I'd like to do this to make it even harder for them to validate the debt (there are lazy people out there). If anyone has this information, that would be great. Thanks!
