The legal SOL begins with the DOFD and not with DOLA. If the SOL on written contracts is six years in your state then it would be the sol on your auto loan as well.
What is the date for the account to drop off your report? Remember, that the seven and a half years period would also start from the DOFD.

The original account from Honda already dropped off, but now this NCO BS collections agency is stating is scheduled to stay on until 3/13. They re aged it from 2006, when the DOFD was 09/2003. or 10/2003.

Actually the very first time I was late was in 2002, but I recovered until 2003.
This is classic re-aging. Do you have an older copy of your rep
This is classic re-aging. Do you have an older copy of your report that shows the older drop off date? If so, send a letter to the CRA with a copy of the page where the older report is on, highlight the drop off date. Ask them to please fix this. I would also slap the CA with a VERY strongly worded letter that deliberately reporting falsely is a violation and that you can and will sue them.

I was actually thinking I would do the same thing. Thanks for the advice.
