I filed bankrupcy in 1989 and included a Ann Taylor credit card, over the years whenever I pull my credit report even after 7 1/2 years it shows activity (when there hasen't been since the bankrupcy) last activity/reported 4/2009. The first thing you need to do is send a letter of dispute to the credit bureaus. Attach copies of all the relevant documents regarding your credit card account and bankruptcy along with all the account records. Tell them that your credit card was included in the bankruptcy in 1989.
Let them investigate into the matter and within a short time, I'm sure that the account will be removed from your report. This may also help to improve your credit score.
