First of all you need to pull your credit report and dispute anything that is inaccruate or obsolete.

If you have any good credit, keep paying on it. It will take time for credit to recover...it is not an overnight process.

There are no set times...depending on your circumstances it could take anywhere from 6 months to a couple of years. If you have negative accounts on your credit, it could take longer.

I recently paid off my mortgage & other debt.I don't have any negative records on my credit report. My current credit score is 540 & i have to improve it more than 620 so i can apply for new loan if needed in my future.
Currently i following credit repair tips from our great forum. making bill payments on time & never back down for making payments like gas, utilities , etc. I hope my credit score will boost earlier & i am trying best of my knowledge about credit repairing to improve my credit score.

Pray to Jesus to improve my credit score faster.
