missing from past

i just checked my credit report first time ever. there is only two debts on it,small. i think that I have had some other not paid debts in the past but they are not on my credit report. shoud i worry about these or should i think that only what is on the current report is what matters?

Well, first of all, can you specify where the debts originated from? How much? If you look on your CR, you will see the 'date of last activity' (the last time you made a payment). And you will see a 'fall-off' date ( the date that the debt will come off your CR.)...THIS date is either on the right side of the debt OR right underneath it. If the 'fall-off' dates are very soon, you should leave them alone. Why?? ..because if you start paying on them again, you will 're-start' the loan.........means the loan will start all over again. Can you tell us what state you live in? ALL states have different SOL (Statue of Limitations).
