SO I pulled my credit report yesterday and some of the info is a little confusing..For instance there is an area that says Your Statement and typed in is FCBA dispute resolved - consumer disagrees - Not sure what this means since this is the first time I have pulled my report..

Also - there are two entries from an Ambulance company. I am pretty sure they are for my daughter however, I never signed a single piece of paper with them and we had insurance. What can I do about them? They are 2 & 3 years old. How did they get on my report? She was living with her father also..

Lastly, if I have a debt that is a couple of years old and it is sold to another CA will the dates start over for the debt? Or does it go from the original date?

question1 legally that statement must be in your report if you dispute an item on your report. it just means you have disputed it.
question#2 are they from the ambulance company or the collection agency they passed the unpaid bill to? whoose name is on the insurance card is whoose credit file med debt from collection agancy goes on. now my state laws clearly says as a parent you are obligated to pay for children med debt and that allows them to put it on...also i personally have had good luck with paying med debt collections and disputing(month later) with the credit bureau and it has majically fallen off..
question #3 they may put the date the new account opened with the new ca..however the date of deletion is based on the date of first delinquency..always and that date can never changed...negs have to fall off your report 7 yr 180 day from dofd...check earlier posts fos more clarity on dofd....
