Is 678 a low or unsatisfactory credit score?

I don't have my mortgage reported, because it has been paid off for 8 years. I read that if you don't have a mortgage reported on your credit report, your credit score is lower than if a mortgage is reported.

Thank you for your answers.

General guidelines are as follows:
Less than 600 is bad, and you will have a very hard time getting any kind of loan.

600-640: is not good, you may be able to get credit but you will have very high interest rates.

641-680: is ok. Not the best, but you will be able to get fair interest rates on loans.

681-720: is good. You will be able to get loans with good interest rates.

720 - 800: is very good. You will get low interest rates.

Greater than 800: is excellent and the ideal credit goal. You will get the best possible rates and be able to do pretty much anything you want with your credit.
