product defective

i was on a trip in Mexico and my husband bought me a ring from a company called Diamond international and the ring's pearl broke or loosened from the prong.
i then returned the ring and they supposedly fixed the ring but the ring was altered and i returned the ring. the person that i talked said that the credit would be returned to the credit card but never did even a year later.
now this in on my credit report i will not pay this becasue the merchandise was returned.
what can i do to get this taken off my credit report? the ring was purchase on a credit card opened and since then hs been cancelled.
