Calvary employees lie. Do not believe anything what they say. They are famous for false representation of the accounts. They will ask for your social security number or your photo ID and a credit card number. Remember, if you give out your personal info, they will try in every way to misuse it. Avoid dealing with this collection agency. It will be better to write or call your local congressmen if they use harass you in doing collections.
Calvary phone call
My husband received the same phone, and they asked for the last 4 digits of his social security and he did it, thinking they couldn't do anything with just the last four digits. The recording then said they had the wrong person. But it makes me very nervous. I was wondering if anyone else had such an experience and Calvary actually did end up on their credit report.

I get constant calls from these guys looking for people I never even heard of. If I manage to get an operator and tell them they don't live here, they continue to call anyway.
It is fairly obvious these people are just blatant criminals.

I just received a new phone and my first phone call (20 minutes later) was from this collection agency. I have excellent credit (FICO 769) and am not late on any debts. I refused to provide any info and simply hung up the phone.

I have received mailings from this company stating the following:
"Calvary to the Rescue!"
And then offering a "settlement plan" on a debt - but not identifying the debt at all. Nowhere. Nothing at all on the letter, the envelope, or anywhere in the mailing. Only an account number, which I assume was their account number, not the original creditor's.
I didn't respond to them, but found them on my credit report later - turned out they were trying to collect debts that had already been paid years ago - I mean, like 10 years ago.
