888-479-7225, I get dead air anyone else want to give it a shot and tell me how they got my cell, they didn't leave a message

I also got a call from that number. The first time I called back (from a different phone) I got a recorded message. So, I called again and got dead air. After several tries I got the message again. It said:

"Thank you for calling. If you received a call from this number, it was regarding a recent visit to the dealership. If you missed the call, someone will be calling you back shortly."

I had just purchased a new car so it makes sense... but they never mention which dealership so that's a bit suspicious. Also, the fact that a google search of the number only pulls up this page and a whocall.us page is very strange.

Hope this helps.

Picked this from "whocalledus"

This is a stupid out-sourced survey company that calls you on behalf of a number of auto dealerships in the US. They want to see how your experience was at the dealer, then they forward the results to that dealer. Why cant the dealer just ask you while you are there? Read as: someone is making money off of this.

It is a number belonging to a company called debt consolidators. I recently tracked it down. My number is in the do-not-call registry, so feel free to file complaints. I will!!!!
