A collector that posts on this site suggested in previous posts to go ahead and send your partial payment (I would get it certified with a receipt request). I would also send a letter, outlining your proposed payment plan. Once they receive this payment, they have to post it. Make sure you save proof of sending payments. If they ever did try to take it to court, you would have proof of making partial payments, and it would probably rule in your favor.

Don????????t be afraid of the threats put by this CA calling you. Check your state laws and start recording their phone calls. You can press charges against them for FDCPA violations
