Please help dealing with Bass and Associates

First, they aren't going to come to your job to get you. This is a civil matter, not criminal. Next, contact Bass & Associates and tell them you want a debt validation to verify the debt before you pay a penny on it. By law, they have to comply.

Welcome to the forums :D If you do a google search on this site for Bass & Associates, you will find alot of negative feedback about this company. They are known to use these type of scare tactics to get debtors to pay, but don't worry b/c you will not be arrested. File a complaint with your state AG's office and the AG's office in Florida where Bass is located.

They are using the daily threats. I don't know how many of us on here have heard these. As dbaker said, make them verify it, they will not like it, but push it..

Record the phone calls. Keep a note of the date and time and the name of the caller. Check your state laws if you are allowed to do the recording secretly or you have to take their permission. You will have a legal proof of their illegal collections and sue them for fdcpa violations.
