I have seen the "kinder, gentler" PDL commercials though. Disgusting. :x

I saw it too!

The one I saw is some trustworthy-looking-man in a suit walking through offices explaining that if used responsibly, payday loans can be your friend.

lol, I wonder what's up with these commercials, I saw a different one.

This one was a woman driving a nice car. I guess we have to assume that she can pay for it because she uses payday loans responsibly.

These commercials are a bunch of s**t. Ultimately they are going to do more harm than good. One of my biggest concerns is always the elderly..If they see these commercials and think this is a great thing these guys are doing, who knows what kind of trouble they can get into.

I saw that commercial too - the "kinder, gentler" payday loan commercial with the guy in the suit. I almost fell out of my chair laughing at his sincerity and almost apologetic tone....

they're just starting to hit the tv, brownsugar - you'll catch one of them soon. I just spotted the first one yesterday.

I'll have to keep an eye out for those..... They need a large WARNING sign on them saying this is not true. :roll:
