My wife took out a loan with these crooks... I have no idea how much they have debited at this point. She has 17 rolling internet loans which have caused a big problem... These people are in MALTA.. am I correct in assuming they have NO access to US courts? The account has been placed on hold so no more transfers can come out. They sent her emails telling her to pay or else... I then called the 800 number to contact them and they refused to give me the corporatee address. They then sent an Email to my wifes corporate personnel officer? I know this violates US law. Any local recourse? Any more advise?

File a complaint with your state's Attorney General's office. This company was thrown out of Malta and no longer operate within that country. I think they may be operating out of Canada. They are not licensed to loan in majority of state's, check to see if they are licensed in your state. Important: You need to have her send them, (e-mail, mail, and fax) them a revokation letter revoking her permission for them to garnish her paycheck. This was a claus in her contract with this company. she also needs to provide a copy of this voluntary wage revokation letter to her employer. This company WILL attempt to take her paycheck. Federal law states she has the right to revoke this voluntary wage assignment no matter what they may say.

How much is the loan for? CTC is not licensed anywhere in the US. There are loads of complaints against them in almost every US state. They are originally based in Malta and were shut down from lending in their country. Then they started their illegal business in the US.

See this link for the complete address of CTC and send the outstanding balance if you have on the principal amount

Do a google search for them, I had a problem with them and there are posts here that will come up on your search results.
What state are you from and what are the names of the companies? You can find your states payday loan information at http://www.paydayloaninfo.org Then you will have to do the math according to your state law, you may have refunds coming. Please list companies and the forum will give you information on them.
