Yeah I googled it too, it looks like a scam to me. File a complaint with the FCC, and call your phone company about getting the number blocked.
If you *do* decide to call it, DO NOT CALL IT FROM HOME. Use a payphone. Calling to verify a scam is like replying to spam email - your number is validated and moves to another list so more opportunists can bother you.
