this has appeared on my credit report, can't find tel# or address-could it be TRS/Telecheck is buying charged off acct as I did not write any bad checks

The above is their address. They did the same on my credit report "Collection Account."
I just sent them Validation letter. I suggest you to never call them. Instead send them a harsher Validation of the Debt letter pursuant to fdcpa. You can google for Validation letter online, you don't have to create one. Good luck
