832-476-1740 - Has anyone dealt with Avante USA?

member profile picture

Anyone know of an address for these guys? Phone # that came up is (832) 476-1739

I too enrolled in UOP and tried for months to get my financial aid verifications into them. They kept coming back claiming my deceased husbands w-2 was not coming thru clear on their fax. They would not give me a new way to send them the document and closed my financial aid application saying I failed to provide them with the required documentation. I now am getting calls for over $3,000.00 to the school.

Returned their garbled phone message.spoke with Bill and was told a student loan was overdue---trouble is that the loan was fully paid off in 2003 and of course we have the letters from sallie mae.......so then i'm told it has to do with an overpayment on the PELL grant ????? again this guy was told nope/impossible.....so a manager was asked for and she now sez that money IS due on fees NOT COVERED by tuition and the grant.......LOL---these people are one big SCAM and all getting these calls must contact the atty general in Washington DC and simply write to avante a basic dispute letter NOTHING MORE and nothing less...and be sure to stress that any correspndence IS AT THEIR EXPENSE and you can find these basic dispute letters right here on line-

I'm also trying to FIND a contact phone number for these career educations corporation as they are the 1s making this claim and ARE career educators and avante involved in a scam ???? phising as well---avante demanded my social number and were simply told NO..they wanted the documents from sallie mae and Albany /Pell grant.....NO---call them yourselves..there's more than simple clerical bookkeeping errors going on here and the state should start looking into this as well

Anna, what you're stating is false. First, you must request validation of debt in writing. Asking over the phone doesn't get you anywhere. Secondly, there is NOTHING that states they must validate within 30 days. And finally, you can actually send a C&D at any time. That's your right. The problem is that if the debt is valid, you're likely to get sued.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
if they don't validate their claim,you cannot proceed and they cannot add interest or fees to that debt they claim YOU owe.

that is the law.
no validation after a request sent registered mail/return receipt---don't do a thing.

I just had a phone call from this number and they left a voice message. This is what was said on my phone; "Hello...Hello....Hello... "My Name" talk to me..." and that is how it ended. I'm sorry if you cant leave a valid message of who you are and who you work for your not worth my time or patience in my opinion. I don't understand companies like this.
