I was recently contacted by that thug, who goes as Mr. David, threatening me with being sued for a bogus 900 charge that I had taken care of years ago. I almost went for it. These are nothing but crooks who buy up old phone records and try to steal money from people who had been billed eroneously to begin with. They threaten to ruin your credit and such. What scumbags. I am so glad I did not send those crooks a dime after googling the name and finding out about them on this forum.

There are serious complaints against this collection agency. Read all the pages back and forth in the topic below and you will know more about their illegal collection practices.

Be careful of them. I heard many people saying they are big scammers.

My experience with this company is not pleasant. I was told that we owed $900+ for 900 calls that were "made from your phone number" when I asked for appropriate validation as is my right I was talked over and threatened with criminal charges. I was told that the law firm would have no choice but to play these "vulgar, disgusting, obscene sex phone calls that will embarass and humiliate your family", I was also told that if I went to court it would cost me $2300, and would go to jail.
I am an educated person, I will state that I'm not a lawyer. On that note, a debt that is up for collection would result in civil charges, not criminal charges. Criminal charges are filed from the district attorneys office after a police report and investigation. If any "company" tells you that they are going to have you arrested, do not believe them! The attorney general of my state is aware of the company and their tactics, and told me that the company will probably not do anything. If they do they will need to provide proof of attempts to collect the debt, proof of the debt, and any and all information from the creditor seeking relief that the debt is still valid.
I will also state the phone company has already provided me with documentation that the 900# calls were less than 50 dollars for 5- 1 minute calls. I was a victim of a trojan dialer. They have sent me a COMPLETE listing of all calls that came from my house. I am waiting for the company to get on this site and start saying that I'm a liar and a debtor. I did dispute this charge but I still paid it. The phone company contacted the service and discovered that the charge was unsubstantiated. they then refunded me mys payment and I NEVER recieved any further bills for services from the 900 company.
I talked with Mr. Sargent, who is an associate of Mr. David. He was very rude and did not make any effort to verify any information to prove the debt.
Again I'm sure that the company will be quick to jump in and start the rudeness here as they did on the other posts 78 pages worth.

Jedijeff, jj they are at it again.

Once they have your phone number and have verified that you are still at the same number, they may give you your address as proof that they have your debt...
It s very easy for them to get your address. many companies offer reverse lookup directory's, we even have a rdl in our local phone book!!!! for a few dollars a month they can have unlimited access to website that will provide addresses and phone number lookups.
If you do a reverse number lookup for the 905-474-3535 phone number that they give you no business is listed. strange that a "Law Office" is using an unlisted business #. How do they get clients if they aren't listed in the phone book?
