My account is Chase Bank,,,acct now with NAFS.
Does Chase still own the account or does it belong to NAFS now?
Once accounts go from one collector to another have they been sold by the original creditor?

It could be either. If the debt is old and charged off it was pr
It could be either. If the debt is old and charged off it was probably purchased by the third party. If it is recent the collector could be collecting on behalf of Chase. Send NAFS a validation letter and it that letter request that info.
