The are offering me a $5000 loan...AFTER I give them $960 as collateral. Sounds like a scam but wanted to see if anyone here has used them.

Any company that offers you a loan and asks for up front money is a scam. You will never see the loan or your money back. Do not do it.There have been members here who have been taken in by these sorts of scams. Steer clear.

sorry to say but,they prey on the credit challenged and desperate.two rules of thumb.
a)if it sounds too good to be true it is.
b)anyone who asks for upfront money stay away from.

I also have been approached by this company. I was going to see if it was a scam and found it on fox25 rip off alert,, what a shame, if it sounds to good to be true it is.. do not do it.
