My father got a call from a guy who said he was looking for my wife and was going to take my wife to court and have her put a way for years for a payday loan.He told my father every thing who the loan was for and the case number for the court house.He told my father it was for "probate" court!!!IN our county Probate handles only "death" items,wills and nothing else I know because I called!!I called every court in the county and nothing is coming up for my wife.The one lady for Magistrate court told me that the courts do NOT handle debt case no longer until its over $10,000 and it has to be about renter and landlord issues. She told me this guy was full BS and not worry about it.I just want the phone number my father has very bad hearing and miss the mid digits.Are there any collection in PA that works for checkn go???Oh by the way this debt is over 3 years old now.I just want to call up these people and tape everything.The number was 1-412-???-1850


check your state laws first before you record.
this sounds like a classic bottomfeeder CA,but
you don't want to break the law to catch them.

if you can record then go for it,just know that this pdl collector is probably in india or some other country.it can't hurt to have proof though.

This place is called Check Administration Services. They are nothing but a low life collection agency. Their phone number is (888)412-1850. Their address is 167 Ashland Avenue, Buffalo, New York, 14222. So according to New York state law, you should be able to record a phone conversation without telling them.(THIS IS MY INTERPRETATION OF THE LAW! I AM NOT A LAWYER! DO THIS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!) According to your post, they are breaking laws and fdcpa rules. You need to contact Karen at the New York Attorney General's office, phone number (716)853-8400. File a report with her. Then contact the FTC and file a report. Phone number is (877)FTC-HELP. Then you need to sue their lying, lawbreaking pants off. Contact this lawyer, she is aware of what this company is doing illegally, and will help you. It's only costing me $200 to take these guys to federal court. Her name is Andrea Schillaci, and her phone number is (716)849-8900. She is located in Buffalo, just a few miles away from this company. GOOD LUCK.
