I have a court Judgement that says I owed a little over 900 but, I was charged over 1700 by IQ data. When I called to get my $800 by they said that I could not because I had already paid before I went to court. So I asked why did you take me to court then? They information is still on my credit report and they refuse to report it to the credit agency that it has been paid in full for almost 3 yrs. They also refuse to send me the letter stating that i paid in full. So now I am having a hard time finding my family a place to stay because of them. How do I get my $800 and the proof that I paid?

IF THEY TAKE YOU TO COURT AND THE JUDGE ASKED IF YOU THINK YOU OWE IQ DATA ANY MONEY SAY NO! YOU WILL GET OUT OF PAYING THEM THE MONEY.

How much were you sued for?? DId you also take into account when you are sued, you are also charged court and legal costs? That can add up anywhere from $750-1500. Were you also taking into account interest accrual on the account?

Did you pay the judgment off in full??
From the way I read it, you paid the $800 BEFORE they filed, which means it was already subtracted from your account. They dont owe you anything.
Judgments stay on your report for 7 years.
