I am trying to find out who PRSM/CBSD is on my credit report.

I think you can file a dispute with the credit bureau and the company has to respond, maybe that will lead you to a number. I responded to your first post about what I found on the bbb.org website with those names.

Yeah, when I typed the CBSD part in on bbb.org it listed a bunch of citibanks. The PRSM popped up with a health club.

I recently had this same posting on my credit report and I found out that it is related to an old Mayc's account that I was pretty sure I closed out a while back. Regardless Citiback recently acquired Mayc's finacial records and here we are. The Citibank customer service # 866.510.2761 Needless to say I closed the account.

I received the card from CitiBank. Apparently they opened the account and sent me the card. I didn't do anything with it and I got an alert from Chase that the account had been opened. It's an active account without my having done anything to open it.

This used to happen decades ago. They must really be hurting for customers.

OK. I had same thing come up on my credit report stating an account was opened just last month and the credit limit was pretty high. Turns out I used to have an old Strouss to Kaufmann's to, I guess, Macy's credit card so when Citibank took over the financial side they reissued new credit cards for Macy/Citibank and sent them out. I never received mine because I had changed addresses. The card came back to Citibank but they didn't do anything about it I guess.
Call 866.510.2761.
Thanks for the info on this site, it helped me track all this down.

Same experience as all of the above. Thanks for the help.
If so many of us are inconvenienced, maybe some lawyer with some time could join us all together to seek redress or at least get Citibank's attention to stop this practice.

This also showed up on my credit report today! I am getting nowhere with Citi. And it resulted in two credit inquiries and two new accounts on my credit report without my consent. This is crazy that this can happen.

I also discovered it by accident on my credit report. It's a Citibank account. Apparently my old Macy's card (that I haven't used in years) got converted to a regular Master Card account without any request or consent from me !!! They told me the send me a card in mail (I never received it). I was able to close the account over the phone. Here is there phone number: 866-510-2761
