Paragon Way Inc. info.

I recieved a phone call from a "prosecutor" in Texas telling me I was going to be prosecuted for an unpaid check that was wrote to Advance America Payday Loan. And that I had to pay over $3000 when the check was only wrote for $400. I went into the Advance America and the lady I spoke with told me I can not be prosecuted for this and they can only get the amount the check was wrote for, and that I needed to reach Paragon Way b/c thats where the check was sold too. I have called every number they gace me and even numbers I have googled for this business.... none of them are in serivce. How do I get in contact with someone to get this taken care of?
