Does anyone know who this number belongs to? I keep getting calls from them and it is a thick indian accent that keeps quoting me federal laws. I overpaid an illegal payday lender and am asking for a pif letter and refund. The person on the phone will not even tell me what company they are with only that I defaulted on a payday loan.

nothing came up with a search so it is safe to say this is a scam.file police reports for the calls.then file AG,and FTC complaints.then do not engage them further.she more than likely is quoting laws that have nothing to do with pdl's or laws that don't exist.another boiler room in INDIA.file the report,and complaints then hang up on them,or better yet ignore them altogether.

When I called the number back, the message said they are "Elastic" a payday loan lender. Now if they were a legit company you would think that they would leave a voicemail when they call--Like normal people.They are calling a place of business which is against the law. Debt Collectors are not legally allowed to call anyone at a place of business. Oh my gosh, if they were to make the person loose their job, I for one would sue the company for all my lost wages until I had a new job. Then I would take my time finding one.
