I just pulled my credit report from Experian and I have 3 Collections Unlimited "accounts" They all appear to have the same Acct number "224XXX" and show as "CO" on the last month listed but have no balance due or any other data listed in the header or any other payment history. Does this make since??

You should pull your credit report from all the three credit bureaus which are Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax.

As you have found errors in your credit report, you should request for reinvestigation of the disputed information. You also have the provision to add a 100-word consumer statement to your file and explain your request if a negative entry has not been removed.

You should check your credit report once in a year from the three agencies as part of your financial planning process. There is one more reporting error which seems to be very common in the credit report. If your name is very common, then someone else’s information might be added in your credit report.
