This company has an unsatisfactory record with the Business Bureau and majority of the complaints have been left unsolved. Most of them are about payment withdrawals. Incorrect amounts are withdrawn from the checking account of the consumers. This company continues to debit the accounts even after the loan is cleared and withdrawal is done before the payment date.
Large numbers of consumers have complained that they were not informed about the additional charges and fees while the loans were taken.
Having variety of complaints in the name of this company, I will alert you in advance before dealing with them. If recording a phone call is permissible in your state, do it. Ask them to send a statement of your account before you agree to pay on anything.
Use your consumer rights as per the fdcpa law and save yourself from being possibly scammed.
CONTACTING CAHSNET
I returned Cashnet's call about the possibilty of garnishing my wages if i do not make payment arrangements. I left a message in Christine's Voicemail that i need the debt verified through a debt verification letter. I have not received a response and it has been 3 days now. Do u think they will try to garnish my wages anyway. I live in texas, and she claimed in our first conversation that i signed an irrevocable consent to garnish wages.

If possibility of wage garnishment is stated in the loan agreement, then they will definitely try to do so. Since you have signed the agreement and given them approval, I will suggest you to talk with them and arrange for a payment plan, if possible.
However, wage garnishments are legal after you have been served a notice in advance and you will have to appear in the court. The judge will review your case before your wages are set to be garnished.
Also, a legal wage garnishment will be kept in the records of your local registrar and also in the latest copy of your credit report. You must check there if you have a valid judgment in your name.
Contacting your creditors will be a preferable step at this point.

In Texas, wage garnishment is not done in payday loans. But if it is stated in your loan agreement and you have given your consent to do so, Sonic will be trying to garnish it. So, you might consult your attorney also.

Read my post above about CashNet and get the mailing address from there. They have a very unsatisfactory record with the bureaus and have been scamming people largely.
If you see this company doing illegal things in your credit file, you should file your complaints at the FTC, BBB and the state attorney general office against them and request for urgent and immediate actions.

This company is based in PA. You can call 1-800-666-8107 and speak with Mark Pascola and he will set your loan up in payments. He froze the balance on mine and also deducted 2 of the return charges.

This compay is the worst to work with, they continued to debit my account after I revoked my permission and now the PA bank commissioner wrote them a letter wanting explanation of this. And, they had the nerve to try to place a collection call at my work after they illegally debited my account twice which my bank took the money back on both occassions. They have recieved my letter weeks ago concerning overpaid interest and they still continued like they never got it. I faxed it again yesterday and haven't heard back yet. If I go to my attorney general with any pdl's it will be this one!
Cashnetusa is a criminal organization
Don't pay them anything. Go to your local DA and file harassment by communications charges against them. They are criminals and are being hauled into several Federal courts.
Cashnet and Payday-loan-yes
I was approved for a PDL from Payday-loan-yes. When the funds were deposited - my statement said Cashnet. Is this the same Cashnet you folks are referring to? If not, does anyone know anything about this Cashnet?

You need to complain to the Pa attorney generals office about this company. Pa is very strict on PDL's and prohibit them. You can file a complaint online, just google pa attorney general, Tom Corbitt and the crew will promptly send this company a letter, you will recieve a response via email within a day or two and then a full explaination of what has happened with in a month. Definately complain to them. I live in Pa, never heard of this company, I know they are really cracking down on this type of activity, just ask Advance America.
Cashnet USA SUCKS!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I made the biggest mistake in the world by getting a loan from these guys. I received the loan and was aware of the high interest rate but still proceeded with the loan. Anyway, they will debit your acct for just the finance charges even before your due date just so they can extend the loan further and be able to charge even more interest at a alter time. I called in and went online a day before the loan was due so they could withdraw the loan amount and interest so it would be paid in full. After a few days I noticed a charge in my bank acct for only the finance charges so I called in to see why they did that and they said it was a "system issue" and said that I had to pay the balance plus another set of interest charges on the next due date. Next due date I let the loan amount go through and disputed the finance charges so now, my bank is rejecting all debits from their tracing bank numbers. They have now referred the acct to outside collections and they are also investigating the matter more. So word of advise, if you want to avoid a headache, don't deal with these people. If you have any acct concerns and call in, they are also very rude and will sometimes hang up on you as well. I am also in the process of contacting the attorney general office to see if I can file a formal complaint against them.
Payday-Loan-Yes
I have had repeatedly asked them not to call me at work but they continue to call. I thank all of you for advice and will contact the attorney general's office in PA. Thank you!
revoking permission
I have told this company that I am revoking my permission to debit my account, and they informed me back that they would keep on until it is paid. Is this legal?
