Black Friday

I did not! I really wanted to go to Victoria's Secret and get that free tote bag & goodies if you purchase $60 or more, but I just couldn't quite muster the courage! It would have been nice to have my sister and sister-in-law's Christmas gifts already, but oh well! :)

I don't think I have ever gone shopping on Black Friday. Huge crowds stress me out. I hate traffic.

I agree FYI...I used to go when my daughter was younger and ONLY if a specific item for a Christmas gift was on special.

Absolutely NO Black Friday shopping for us. First off, no money (that'll kill it every time)...second, I hate the crowds and fighting over silly materialistic things that won't matter 6 months after Christmas is over anyway....third, this is the day that we traditionally put up our tree! And yes, that DID get done. The tree is up, decorated, and sitting in the midst of all the dang packing boxes in the living room! LOL :lol:

NO shopping for us. Like Suebee I put up the tree. Now still got to decorate the house.
Volley, I can no longer bear to watch that movie. It was okay the first 6 or 7 times I watched it, but my brother loved the movie so much that he watched it three times a day on weekends and once after school during the week. This went on from Thanksgiving to Christmas. I shudder when I see it now. I heard though that they recently made a sequel to it. Did you see it? Was it any good?

TBS or TNT does a 24-hour marathon of it on Christmas...at that point I can only take so much of it.

I didnt see the sequel but wonder if it had the original cast as many do not.

I work retail...was up at 3:15 am...left the house at about 4 started work at 4:45 am and got home at 4pm this afternoon. Do I shop?? H--- No...after dealing with people all day every day I do most my shopping on line...LOL!

Yikes morning! Makes for a long day dealing with people...on-line shopping is becoming really popular.

I dont know about every where else, but in Manhattan the stores actually opened at 4am.

They opened here at 4:00am also, kash. I watched the news last night and people were camping out in sleeping bags. It was 30 degrees. Does a person REALLY need something THAT bad???? Hell no! My butt was here watching TV all day! :lol:

I did it. I was at Kohl's at 4 am. I got a lot of great deals...And I got into an argument, and a really old man shoved me. We got a wii!! My husband went to Sam's at 5am and got one!! My little boy wants one soooo bad, I'm thrilled!

Congrats Fins!!!! No movies :wink: I cheat and send my mom and sis my list for them to buy stuff for me.

I would LOVE to be in the middle of a mosh pit! I have such a big mouth..A woman behind me in line yelled because the woman in front of me dropped her stuff and "held up the line"...The damn line wound all the way around the store! I spent the rest of the time in line making snide comments about how we all need to be careful not to drop stuff. I think I really pissed the woman behind me off...She was one of the ones with piss in her wheaties.

No way in HECK will I go shopping on Black Friday. I get stressed & anxious in stores when they are packed. I'll find my deals at another time!

Sometimes I get the best stuff in our local grocery store...they have some nice toys in there...movies, books, dvds.

I was a Resident Assistant in college...just glad I wasn't Roxy's with all that fighting!

Ok girls, there was only one and she was mad at me for what, to this day I do not know. It was over quickly, I put her face down on the floor and waited for someone to come so I could get up. As for the rest it is completely legit, I spar as part of self defense training.
