I have been lurking here for a few weeks. I have found a lot of good information, but I don't even know where to start. I am in deep deep trouble. I have managed to rack up 8 payday loans totalling $4000. My monthly fees are roughly 1600 a month. This is almost my whole paycheck. I have just continued to dig myself deeper and deeper. I have no where I can turn to for help. My husband haas no idea, and if he knew, I would probably be divorced. I can not juggle anymore, the whole thing is about to tumble down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I hvae read all the comments on this Town and Country. Is my situation something they can help with? I need help and I need it fast.

Thanks,
Crystal

I am in a consolidation program, and I have 4 payday loans, they all agreed to 75 to 90 per month on the program. That would be half of what you are paying now,so I think you should give them a call a get things started,it will make you fill much better.Once you get on the program, you must never touch a payday loan again.Good Luck.

Thanks for the reply. Are you with Town and Country? How do I go about getting ahold of them. I saw where numbers cannot be posted, so feel free to email me the contact info. How long does it take to get started? Also- how much to start? I am in this situation because I am low on money, so I don't have access to much money to begin.

Hi mcmal

I am so sorry to hear about the struggles that you are going through. Have you signed any debt with your ex husband jointly? If not, your husband is responsible to pay his share of debt. You don't have to pay that part. And the lenders should not even contact you for those.

You have to take care of your bills as early as possible so that you don't let your credit get affected severely. The consultant will negotiate with your lenders and arrange a suitable payment plan for you. You will be offered a reduced amount that will wipe off most of the financial charges, late fees from it. Pay it in easy installments and try not to miss the payments. Otherwise, the benefits offered to you in the program won't be offered by the creditors later.

I can understand your situation and at the same time, I am thinking about your credit file also. It is important for you to take care of it so that you see some improvement in your financial status. Talk to the consultant and he will arrange a reduced plan for you.

Keep in touch

Regards
Roxette

Can anyone give an overview of the Town and Country plan? I see a lot of people have turned to them, but no details have been given. I am looking to find out what they do, how it works- the process. I am a detail person, and I wanted to have info before I contacted them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Crystal
