When working with debt consolidation - is it also possible to pay above the payment plan (thus paying it off more quickly) or would that normally result in a prepayment penalty? Thanks!

According to my program, they encourage you to pay extra if you have it. Expecially like tax refunds, bonus checks, inheritances, anything. Any extra will help. And the specifically told me there was no penalty for early payoff.

I expect to be debt free in less than three years! I could have never done it on my own!
