I sent the debt validation letter, certified this morning to LVNV. Imworried because they wanted to be called this evening with me saying I would pay in full. Just read another post on LVNV and David said to contact the creditor if LVNV gave too much problem,to set up payments,is this true

Yes, you can make a payment agreement if you face problems in dealing with the collection agencies. However, this can only be done if your accounts have not been sold to third party collectors.

Most of the creditors understand the problems faced while dealing with the CAs and you just have to explain the situation. The creditors will like to have their money back from the consumers very smoothly.

Contact your OC and know the latest standing of your account. If they have not sold your account, you can still make a deal with them.

The letter sent to LVNV for validation of the debt is legally forcing them to give you the proper details of your account. This process might take some time as they will contact your OC and get the complete details before contacting you. If you enter into an agreement directly with your creditor, you won't have to deal with LVNV in between.
