ENCORE Called....egads lol

Encore has been calling here for my b/f on both of his Capitol 1 cards. I told them that we already spoke to Capitol 1 and that they do not own the account, Capitol 1 is still holding it. She kept asking to speak to him but he said he would not because they don't have anything to do with the account. When I told the woman from Encore she got quiet and didn't say anything when I told her to stop calling here and trying to collect on a debt they do not have. I waited for a response expecting her to freak out but she still didn't say anything so I hung up. After reading through some of the posts here I really expected her to get rude - guess I got lucky. Maybe with all of their pending problems they are not rocking the boat when one of the people they are calling calls their bluff. Now we did not speak to Capitol 1 we have been paying them with Money orders (to ensure an immediate payment credit) and they are still accepting payments directly from us. My boyfriend is calling them tomorrow to arrange a set payment arrangement and to try and stop any additional "Over the Limit" charges. Thought this procedure might help some others here. :D
