I am not able to pay the extension fees on payday loans
Date: Fri, 05/19/2006 - 06:20
I am willing to set up a payment plan of say about 50 a month for each account.
I would like to know what happens when you do not have your bank accont active and they cannot collect there fees.
Will I be taken to court?
Will they try to garnish my pay?
I have no idea what they do when you can't pay. I am willing to pay them off slowy and can likely have them all paid off within a few months time.
Any experience or insight will be appreciated.
Also can you put a payday loan into debt consolidation.

There has been A LOT of discussion about pay day loans in this community. Read through the many threads and see what others have experienced. And several members of the community will undoubtedly offer their assistance and experiences. I highly recommend you register as a member of the community, the link is over on the left side of your screen.
There is some information we need for anyone to help. Are your loans with Store Front lenders or Internet lenders? (store front lenders are usually easier to work with).
What State do you live In? Laws governing PDL's vary from state to state, in some states they are completely illegal.
In most cases no criminal charges can be filed.
Be strong, and arm yourself with knowledge. Don't let these lenders or their collections people scare you. Don't panic. Learn your rights and accept your responsibilities, and do the honorable thing and deal with these issues up front. They will be more likely to work with you if you take the lead.
Good luck, please come back and share your experiences with the community, and probably somewhere down the road you will help someone who may be in the same situation.
